Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

There are hundreds of Fuse materials available in Tears of the Kingdom. Some are better for beginners while others are end-game treasures.

Fusing materials with weapons in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is one of the best parts of the game. With each item giving Link's weapon or arrow a damage bonus, the game encourages players to hunt down more materials for stronger weapons. Since the Gloom has ravaged the quality of weapons around Hyrule, finding the right Fuse materials is vital to beating bosses and powerful enemies.

Most materials in Zelda:Tears of the Kingdom can be fused to weapons, but not every item should. It's pointless to fuse ingredients to weapons, and some materials, like Chuchu Jelly, work better as additions to arrows rather than half of a melee weapon. While most of the best Fuse materials are hard-to-get monster parts, some are the best simply for their availability.

Amber is arguably the best early Fuse material in Zelda: TOTK because it provides a damage bonus without forcing Link into combat. It is challenging to collect monster parts when every monster can one-shot Link after he awakens with Rauru's arm. When players lack protection and weaponry, they can mine for Amber and attach it to their Tree Branches or sticks for +4 damage.

The Light Dragon is best known as the resting place of the Master Sword in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, but it provides its fair share of monster parts for Link's weapons. Whether players get the Light Dragon's Scale, Spike, or some other monster part, the material can provide a +12 damage bonus to whatever weapon they equip it with. Also, since the Light Dragon flies throughout Hyrule, collecting materials from it may be easier than some more specific dragons.

Blue Moblins can be a formidable enemy for players to run into early in their Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom playthrough, but they provide one of the better Fuse materials available from random mobs. In addition, the Blue Moblin Horn has a +13 damage bonus. This means that when deciding which monster parts to use in elixirs, players should save their Blue Moblin Horns for their weapons.

It can be terrifying to jump into a dark chasm only to see a giant monstrous eye staring through the shadows as boss music begins playing. A player's first Frox fight may end poorly for them, but defeating one can reward them with a Frox Fang. This monster part provides +14 damage, making it a worthy prize for defeating this froggy beast in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Elemental Lizalfos provide excellent monster parts in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Whether Fire-Breath, Ice-Breath, or Electric-Breath, Lizalfos Horns provide +15 damage to equipped weapons. This can make treks through Eldin Mountains, Hebra Mountains, or Gerudo Desert worth it, as elemental Lizalfos love to lurk in these regions. Gerudo Desert is the best place to hunt, as the region has both Fire-Breath and Electric-Breath Lizalfos.​​​​​​​

Blue Boss Bokoblins lead Bokoblin mobs and strike fear into the hearts of any Zelda: TOTK player with just a few hearts to their name. However, should players gather their courage and face a Blue Boss Bokoblin down, they can collect a Blue Boss Bokoblin Horn worth +16 damage. It's a worthy prize for combat against these formidable monsters.​​​​​​​

The Soldier Constructs and Captain Constructs are the first enemies players come across in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Captain Construct Horns are valuable materials that help create solid and capable weapons. The Captain Construct II Horn has a +15 damage bonus when Fused to weapons, while III and IV Horns have +25 damage. Therefore, it's better to use Captain Construct Horns as weapon materials rather than selling them.​​​​​​​

Dinraal is one of the three named dragons who patrol the skies of Hyrule. Like all dragons in Zelda: TOTK, its monster parts are wonderful additions to any weapon. Shards of Dinraal's Spike provide +16 damage, while Dinraal's Horn has +24 damage. In addition, both create a fire effect on their Fused weapon. This makes any weapon wielding a Shard of Dinraal's Spike effective against Ice enemies in cold environments.​​​​​​​

Black Bokoblins, Moblins, and other monsters are some of the toughest of their type and therefore provide excellent Fuse materials for weapons in Tears of the Kingdom. For example, Black Bokoblin Horns are worth +17 damage and are one of the easier Black monster parts to collect since Bokobins are a more basic mob compared to Horriblins or Moblins.​​​​​​​

Gleeoks in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom are multi-headed dragon bosses whose drops make for excellent Fuse materials. Each of the three Gleeoks can drop Gleeok Guts, which have a +24 damage bonus. Although it may be better to sell the Gleeok Guts or use them in elixirs, players can use them to enhance weapons when they lack stronger Fuse materials.​​​​​​​

Diamonds are the best and rarest ore in Tears of the Kingdom. Coming in with +25 damage, Diamonds are excellent for early-game players with a bit of luck, as they don't need to fight a powerful boss to get this Fuse material. However, players should be picky on whether they use their Diamonds in their weapons since they come into play in a few quests and can be sold for 500 Rupees.

As another member of the Black enemy family, the Black Lizalfos Horn is an excellent addition to weapons in Zelda: TOTK if players can defeat a Black Lizalfos. With a +26 damage bonus, this monster part makes a much better Fuse material than an elixir ingredient or sold item.​​​​​​​

Boss Bokobins are challenging enough in typical Bokobin colors, but Black Boss Bokobins have proven their worthiness to lead other Bokobins in battle. If players stumble upon these enemies while exploring, their horns can provide a +27 damage bonus to a weapon they choose. It's once again a Fuse material not to be thrown away lightly. It's only ranked below the following listing due to the wandering nature of Boss Bokobins.​​​​​​​

The Black Hinox Horn is effectively the same as the Black Boss Bokobin Horn with +27 damage. However, it ranks above the Black Boss Bokobin Horn due to the ease of finding them. Hinoxes are official bosses who have set locations across Hyrule. There are six Black Hinoxes in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom whom players can farm for their horns.

The four Gleeoks in Zelda: TOTK (Flame, Frost, Thunder, and King Gleeok) can drop Gleeok Flame Horns, Frost Horns, or Thunder Horns, respectively, with the King Gleeok able to drop any of the three horns. All three horns have a +30 damage bonus as Fuse materials and make fighting these powerful bosses well worth it.​​​​​​​

Gibdo Bones are one of the strongest Fuse materials in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, providing a +40 damage bonus. However, Gibdo Bones break immediately after being used. They are more effective when attached to arrows, but when combined with weapons, they can one-hit a variety of enemies.

Bokobins may be a basic enemy, but the Silver Bokobin is different. Silver enemies are extremely rare in Zelda: TOTK, but their drops are excellent. The Silver Bokobin Horn has a damage bonus of +31, making it the best Bokobin-based Fuse material available in the game, although it will take some work to defeat a Silver Bokobin and earn it.​​​​​​​

The rarity of Silver enemies in Tears of the Kingdom extends to the tall Moblins. The Silver Moblin is an incredibly difficult enemy who could easily one-shot Link is unprepared, but its horn has a +33 damage bonus. In addition, the twisting, spiky Silver Moblin Horn is a fantastic addition to any weapon.

Lynels are terrifying centaurs whose incredible speed and power make them difficult to kill. The Silver Lynel is the worst of them all, destroying all of its enemies. Still, its drops are the best Fuse materials in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The Silver Lynel Mace Horn has a +51 damage bonus, outmatched only by its sister monster part.

​​​​​​​The Silver Lynel Saber Horn is the best Fuse material in Tears of the Kingdom. This sharp and sturdy horn has a +55 damage bonus, outshining everything else. It will be a hard battle to claim this priceless monster part, but the struggle would be worth it to make one of the greatest weapons Link can wield in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
